Operational Context

Global trade runs on process, and most exporters manage that process across a dozen disconnected tools: spreadsheets for orders, email threads for buyer outreach, manual filings for customs, and separate portals for trade finance and insurance. Weblinear partnered on the development of NiryatSetu, a SaaS platform that replaces that fragmentation with a single system covering the full export lifecycle: buyer discovery, freight and logistics, customs clearance, EXIM operations, and trade finance, all inside one connected application.

The result is a platform now used by exporters, importers, logistics partners, banks, and consultants across international trade corridors, built to take a business from finding a buyer to getting paid without leaving the product.

Challenges Before Implementation

Export operations are procedurally heavy by nature. Every shipment touches multiple parties (buyers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, banks, and insurers) and each of those relationships traditionally runs through its own disconnected process. For SMEs and MSMEs in particular, this creates severe friction:

No Single Source of Truth: Orders, documentation, shipment status, and financing all lived in different systems, with no way to see the full picture of a trade in progress.

Manual, Error-Prone Documentation: Export paperwork such as invoices, packing lists, and letters of credit were typically built by hand for every shipment, with no validation or reuse.

Slow Access to Working Capital: Trade finance and insurance approvals ran through offline, relationship-driven processes that could take weeks, holding up cash flow for businesses that needed it fastest.

Fragmented Buyer Discovery: Finding legitimate international buyers meant working through unverified contacts and third-party databases with no direct path into the rest of the export workflow.

High Onboarding Cost for Smaller Exporters: Enterprise trade software existed, but it was typically too complex and too expensive for the SME and MSME exporters who make up most of the market.

The opportunity was not to digitize one part of this chain. It was to build the chain itself as one continuous, reliable product.

Architectural Solution

Weblinear engineered NiryatSetu as a unified EXIM platform, structured around the actual sequence of an export transaction rather than isolated features bolted onto a dashboard.

Verified Global Buyer Discovery: The platform gives exporters direct access to a verified database of buyers and suppliers across 190+ countries, filtered by product, HSN code, and target region. A built-in trade CRM lets teams manage those relationships, send enquiries, and track deals without switching to a separate sales tool, while trade trend analysis surfaces pricing and demand patterns to inform which markets to pursue.

Freight Forwarding & Multimodal Logistics: Once a deal is in motion, the platform manages the physical movement of goods directly: ocean, air, and trucking freight, warehousing, and customs clearance are all coordinated inside the same system that originated the order, rather than handed off to disconnected logistics vendors.

Centralized EXIM Management: Order management, bulk commodity handling, and inventory tracking give exporters operational control over shipments as they move through fulfillment. MIS reporting turns that operational data into business analytics, and built-in trade advisory gives teams access to expert guidance without leaving the platform.

Integrated Trade Finance & Day-One Capital: Trade finance, trade insurance, and trade inspection are built into the same workflow that generates the underlying shipment, closing the gap between operational activity and the capital needed to fund it. Exporters unlock finance availability up to 90% on the first day of shipment dispatch.

Automated Documentation & Paperless Compliance: Every trade document, from commercial invoices to packing lists and letters of credit, is generated, validated, and stored digitally within the platform, removing the manual paperwork that traditionally slows every shipment.

GST, Duty Drawback & Tally Accounting Sync: Purpose-built GST and duty drawback tools handle tax compliance and recovery workflows that otherwise consume finance teams' bandwidth, while real-time accounting integrations with platforms like Tally keep ledgers synchronized without manual reconciliation.

Multi-Party Collaborative Ecosystem: NiryatSetu extends a unified workspace to exporters, importers, freight forwarders, partner banks, and CA consultants working from the same underlying data, with an intuitive interface designed for non-technical trade operators to become productive in hours, not weeks.
